Trustee Joel Fassbinder has been in the fire service for 30 years serving as a firefighter with the Bozeman Fire Department for 25 of those years. He was President of the Montana State Professional Fire Fighters as well as participating on boards of a few national committees as a Union representative. He and his family have lived in the Central Valley Fire District for some time so continuing in public service as a trustee with Central Valley Fire District was a natural fit. He hopes to provide for the welfare and safety of those in the profession that he loves so much.

He is currently raising a teenage daughter, owns some horses, and enjoys traveling the region seeing the beautiful sights and meeting some wonderful folks along the way.
