Board of Trustees

Central Valley Fire District is governed by an elected Board of Trustees. The Rural Board of Trustees is charged with ensuring that the Citizens of the Fire District are provided with adequate Emergency Services. Members serve without compensation for three-year terms.

Vice-Chairman Gil Moore
Mr. Moore has lived in the area since 1984. He became a volunteer firefighter "about 50 years ago" and has been involved with the fire service ever since. He and his wife Susan, have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Trustee Ty Elliot
Originally from Buffalo, Wyoming Ty graduated in 1995 from Carroll College in Helena, Montana with a degree in business with an emphasis in economics and finance. Since 2001 Ty has owned and managed the State Farm Insurance Agency in Belgrade, Montana. Ty and his wife Erica have 3 daughters.

District Clerk Donette Johnson
Donette Johnson started as the District Clerk in 2006. Donette is an Eastern Montanan and moved to Belgrade in 2005 from Sidney where she worked for Richland County for 25 years and was the Richland County Treasurer for 14 of them. Donette was married to the late Bradley C. Johnson, a 21 year veteran of the Belgrade Rural/City Fire Dept. Their blended family consists of four grown daughters and four grand children.
